All greenhouse plantings are catered for by this kit. A combination of Micro Misters which produce a mist-like spray for pots and trays of seeds on the bench and Adjustable Drippers for growbags and tubs. The kit enables you to alter positions of the Drippers & Misters as plantings alter. Enough for up to an average 12' x 8' greenhouse.

SELF WATERING TRAYS

Waters by capillary action. Fill the reservoir with water which is sucked up by the capillary matting supported by an inner platform. Just sit your plant pots on the matting to ensure they have a water supply. Several trays in the greenhouse can be a useful way of watering small pots or seed trays all year round.

Top Quality Commercial Matting the best way to water small pots. Easily cut to size and washable. The compost draws water up to the roots as the plants use it. Lifts water 75mm and holds 2ltrs per mtr. Use only flat bottomed pots with holes directly in the base. You don't have to have trays to use Capillary Matting. It will work on any flat surface. Water will not run off provided the matting does not overlap the side.



MICRO PERFORATED POLYTHENE £1.25mtr Laid on matting reduces slgae & root growth into matting. Being white reflects light to the plants. Spillages easily cleaned up giving longer matting life. Cuts evaporation by 20-40% 1mtr wide (3'3").

BALL VALVE TANK £25.00 7" x 7" x 5"

Automation for capillary matting. No more dry benches.
Provides a constant water supply to keep capillary matting moist. This small tank is fitted with a float valve (like a tiny toilet cistern) maintaining a constant water level. The tank has a lip making it easy to fit onto the bench. Water is fed to the tank from the nearest tap by a hose. Capillary matting is fed by a wick (a small piece of the matting) laid into the tank and tucked under the matting on the bench.

Rather than the expense of adding extra taps use a manifold. Robust metal manifold screws straight onto the garden tap allowing two or four valved outlets. Each accepts standard threaded hose fitting. Klick tap adaptor or if automating a Sprinkler or Dripper system, the Transformer Water Controller.


WATER BYELAW TAP VALVE £22.00

Screwed onto your tap, this brass valve stops back syphoning and hence contamination from a hose into the supply. Complies with the Water Industry Act 1991 & Byelaws. Non compliance can result in heavy fines.
